The Board
The Board of CBS Case Competition has five members and one alternate. Read more about the current board members below.
Bjørn Ruwald, President
Bjorn has been part of CBS Case Competition since 2005 – first leading the Casegroup for two consecutive years, later as a highly involved preferred partner. He holds a B.Sc. in International Business and a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting with studies at New York University’s Stern School of Business. Bjorn works at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in London. Previously, he worked at McKinsey & Company and was an entrepreneur.
Birgitte Vedel-Lenz, Board Member and Secretary
Birgitte has been an active part of CBS Case Competition in 2010 as a team host, and in 2011 as a member of the Steering Committee. Birgitte holds a B.Sc. in International Business and is currently studying M.Sc. in International Marketing and Management. She has also studied at London School of Economics. Beside her studies, Birgitte works as a project manager for the advertising agency, Wunderman.
Helene Gerholm, Board Member
Helene was team host in CBS Case Competition in 2007 and responsible for the Event group in 2008. She holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School with studies at the London School of Economics and UCL in Brussels. Since 2007, Helene has worked with business and strategy development in Nykredit Markets & Asset Management.
Martin F. Holm, Board Member
Martin is one of the two founders of the CBS Case Competition, and he holds a M.Sc. in Intercultural Management from CBS. Martin has worked globally with sales and business development for Danish as well as international corporations, and he is currently Head of Business Development with Driconeq, a drilling construction equipment manufacturer owned by Danish private equity company Axcel, as well as a non-executive board member in other companies.
Jacob Benzon, Board Member
Jacob has been an active part of CBS Case Competition in 2010 as a member of the PR & Marketing group and Beat the Elite group, and in 2011 as a member of the Steering Committee. Jacob holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration and M.Sc. in Marketing Communications Management. He has also studied at University of Wisconsin. Besides his studies, Jacob is in the advisory board at YoungAcademics and works as a junior consultant at DialoguePeople & NetPeople, PeopleGroup.
