Copenhagen Business School Case Competition is an undergraduate competition for selected business schools worldwide, where the students' abilities to solve a realistic business challenge are in focus. The mission of CBS Case Competition is to strengthen internationalization through the enhancement of student and faculty networks, both social and professional.
Our ambition is to create an event that will serve as a means of inspiring innovation at the participating business schools and universities by exchanging experiences at both student and faculty levels.
The actual case will be a real business problem that a company is facing in its current situation. Then, the Organizing Committee of CBS Case Competition turns the business problem into a case, ensuring that the case has never been exposed to anyone at any previous point in time. The aim is to make the case competition as real as possible in order to offer the participants a chance to experience the kind of challenges they will be facing after graduating. The winning business school of the competition will be invited to participate in the next year’s Copenhagen Business School Case Competition.
CBS Case Competition is run entirely by voluntary students, it is therefore a 100 % student-run event, developed in close collaboration with the Danish Business Community.
The competition is sponsored by private enterprises and funds, and CBS Case Competition covers all expenses incurred during the formal program, including the accommodation. This means that the participating schools will only be required to cover airfare and personal expenses during the week.
