Out seeing Copenhagen and meeting the Royal Family!

Monday the 23rd of February

Today the participants got their first encounter with Copenhagen. During the day, the participants were split into teams and each team had to find some famous places around Copenhagen city centre. It was a very cold experience but also a lot of fun.

At campus, CBS Case Competition 2009 began its event week - "week nine", for the CBS students. This was done by inviting the students for breakfast, several activities and a great presentation by Niels Bartholdy from the National Bank of Denmark. Niels explained about the financial crisis and how it developed. So many students showed up for the presentation that some even had to sit on the steps.

In the evening, all the participants & organizing committee were invited to the Carlsberg Brewery Museum for the CBS Case Competition Welcome Dinner. Ambassadors from the teams' home country, as well as representatives from Copenhagen Business School and Carlsberg Group were also present at the dinner. Again this year the Royal Family of Denmark showed their support to CBS Case Competition. His Royal Highness Prince Joachim and Her Royal Highness Princess Marie welcomed the participating teams to Denmark and participated in the dinner.
